Play in our bonspiel

The Marie Curie Bonspiel is open to all. Novice club members are especially welcome.

We need your name and preferred playing position then we will do our best to draw even teams for the competition.

 

Sponsor our bonspiel

Sponsor a sheet of ice for £100. We can display an advertising banner at the Ice Rink.

Sponsor a team or a table at the prize-giving for£50. We can display your business cards or small promotional materials at the Ice Rink or on the dinner tables.

The more sponsors we have, the more money we can raise.

 

Make a donation

Every penny makes a difference! Every £20 we raise funds one hour of end of life nursing at home or hospice care for patients with a terminal illness.

 

The Details

One section of eight teams playing three games of curling Schenkel system

Highest scoring team wins

Session times are: 5.15pm on Friday, 11.30am and 3.30pm on Saturday.

On Friday there will be Supper and a social evening at the Ice Rink

On Saturday there will be the Prize Giving, Three Course Evening Meal and Music to dance to!!!   Let's have fun fundraising for Marie Curie.

2024 sees another very successful Marie Curie bonspiel,

2 games, lots of fun and fantastic food again from Juicy Meats!

At the same time we raised around another £1000 for this very worthwhile charity.
