Fun was had by All at Curl Fest

We hosted #CurlFest on Saturday - with the aim of introducing new faces to curling and the facility, along with raising money for Cash for Kids 1000 faces campaign. 61 people tried curling on the day, with John Stevenson’s team of coaches kept busy over the 4 sessions. Gary James, the family magician drew a good crowd of youngsters (and adults) and he entertained everyone around the building for two hours. Graeme and Ruaraidh were on hand to do all the jobs behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, with Graeme’s son proving to be a great magician’s assistant! Our ladies section headed up by Elspeth Bell ran refreshments and a first class tombola, and Colin Stirling’s game of stones
