Border Development Group Role
The prime role of the Border Curling Development Group (BCDG) is to develop curling in the Scottish Border
and North England area with a view to feeding new members into a virtual club then progressing into mainstream curling clubs
in the area.
Develoment of curling to a higher standard and elite curling is also included in the programme.
BCDG Projects:
Funding:
The funding of the group is by donations, fund raisers & grants.
Projects
are funded mainly by specific grants.
Development Officer is funded by BIR Ltd, BIR Club, BCDG, & RCCC.
The
Border Province underwrites the BCDG funding of the Dev' Officer.
The group also organise fund raising events to
fund the various projects
