The Swan Trophy is a two-fold competition with a Ladies section and a Men's section
played on 14th - 16th December 2011

In the Ladies Final:
Fiona Turnbull
who had a tight game in the semi-final against Margaret Robertson
and Glynnis Lauder who lost three single shots at the start of her Semi to Helen Forbes, but came back with 2 fours and a three to seal her final place.


In the Mens Final:
Jim Cullenwho rattled through their Semi very quickly against Ian Dykes
and Colin Jeffries who started with a tight game against James Dixon, but a couple of slack stones from James let Collin in with a big end and the rest is history.

The presentation was conducted to a great extent by Club President Harry Dodds,
with the assistance of Jack Clark, MD of John swan and Sons, the competition sponsors and Marion Pate, Ladies section President.
Jack Clark in his welcome remarks confirmed that the sponsorship would continue and he would see us all again next year.   This was well received by the good number of attending curler's.
Marion presented the ladies trophy and prizes to the ladies and Jack likewise to the gents.


The evening continued after the presentation with complementary wine and Mince Pies with some of Joe's (caterer) home made shortbread.
