Ice Rinks are cold places!!!

Beginners will move about a bit less than the experienced curler so best to keep warm
Wear loose fitting warm clothes
Jeans are not good - they do not stretch
and do not keep you warm.
Shoes are very important - CLEAN soft flat rubber soles are good.
Outdoor shoes, leather or studded soles should never be worn on the ice.
If in doubt ask another curler or the Ice Rink staff.
Gloves can be used but not for delivering a stone.
